![]() The Switch especially makes a lot of sense given that Activision has promised more support for the system (there’s a separate rumor floating around today that Black Ops 4 will launch on Switch, but I’m not putting as much stock in that one as of yet), and the fact that Crash would obviously be a great game to play on the go. Whatever happens with the potentially new games, I do think that a Switch, PC and Xbox port are no brainers once whatever deal Sony had with Activision expires. Sane Trilogy is a collection of remasters of the first three games in the Crash Bandicoot series Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped. With that said, adapting old games for present day is a whole lot different than making new games in the series, particularly when much of the old team that made the originals is no longer on the project (though they might want to scoop some of them up for that). None of this is official, and Activision hasn't yet responded to my request for comment, but it does not seem outside the realm of possibility that the insane (no pun intended) interest in the revamped Crash would lead them to reinvest in the IP. Activision may be restarting the series as a whole with new titles through 2022.Activision has plans for a new Crash game in 2019.
